GILCHING IN MOVEMENT (BEWEGTES GILCHING)
In Gilching there are numerous associations and institutions committed to bring people to MOVE things TOGETHER.
This is also the case, for example, with the Gilchinger Tafel, which has its headquarters in the old Keck Villa located on Pollinger Straße. We want to bring some “movement” the façade of the villa. This action should set a sign in the community and promote people’s engagement.
Children (up 8 years old) and young people can ‘paint’ the façade using a design template on the GILCHING IN MOVEMENT theme. You can easily do this at home with coloured pens or markers.
Get the template (DIN A2) at Jugendtreff (Youth Centre), Rathausstr. 6 (MO-THUR from 14-20:00 / FR from 14-21:00) or at Street Work Team, Pollinger Str. 24 (TUE from 15-19:00). Be creative! The deadline for submitting your paiting is 4th October bring it back to the Jugendtreff or Streetwork.
A jury will select the best designs and they will be projected onto the façade of the Keck Villa, twice a day, during the Art and Culture Week.

In cooperation with the Jugendtreff (Youth Centre) and the Street Work Team, we asked children and young people in Gilching what currently moves them. Michael Campos Viola (DoP – Director of Photography) took their answers and combined them with impressions of Gilching. This video will be projected onto the Keck Villa during the Art and Culture Week.

WE BRING CULTURE DIRECTLY INTO THE HEART OF GILCHING! CULTURE FOR YOU, FREE OF CHARGE!
Following the motto GILCHING IN MOVEMENT, we have decided to MOVE TOGETHER to bring culture closer to you. The Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug “Edelweis” Gilching e.V. together with the Guichinger Brauchtum e.V., the Gilching Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Gilching Men’s Choir 1903 e.V., the Gilching Brass Band e.V. and the Zeitreise Gilching e.V. bring Gilching culture to you. Our parade starts at Altdorf and moves into the heart of Gilching. The parade includes music and performance acts at various stops.
We invite you: come to the streets, accompany us, celebrate with us and let us MOVE TOGETHER as part of the Art and Culture Week.
Location
We will start with a “Celebration Service for the 25th Anniversary of the Priesthood of Vicar Dr Paul Nwandu”.
